HB 188 & SB 200
Ohio’s economy, now on the map for everything from computer chips to advanced drones, and from smart manufacturing to smart mobility, has everything to gain from increased innovation focused partnerships. This legislation takes Ohio and Israel trade and commerce to the next level, and also opens Ohio a host of other potential trade partnerships, from the Arabian Gulf to Central Europe, into Africa, and beyond.
The Ohio Israel Trade and Innovation Partnership Act will establish a commission of 14 members comprising three from the House and Senate, and eight others from significant organizations throughout the business and community landscape of Ohio. This body will serve to study and advance bilateral and mutual trade and investment between Ohio and Israel while focusing on specific industries, emerging technologies, and innovation clusters that will further enhance our own industries across the state.
