“We have worked with Senator Andrew Brenner in the past on several priority issues, including community safety and education, on which he has been a consistent supporter.

“We were quick to condemn his inappropriate use of Holocaust imagery and the use of a comparison to Nazi Germany in a public policy debate. We have seen his updated statement, dated April 23, 2020 which makes clear our community concerns.  The Holocaust remains a singular event in history and the evil of the Nazi regime stands unparalleled.

“We welcome the opportunity to have him meet with our community further, including an invitation to visit Cincinnati’s Holocaust & Humanity Center and to learn more about the Holocaust and the history of and the current state of anti-Semitism and Jew hatred.”
